DC Eats: Chinatown Garden
Every time we visit Washington, D.C., we never fail to have lunch at the Chinatown. It all started when 2 of our friends from Boston celebrated the 4th of July with us. That was about 2 years ago. We were starving so much from the day's activities that we decided to pig out in a Chinese Restaurant. We just randomly entered Chinatown Garden due to the fact that there was a line outside the entrance and exiting customers seemed happy with the service and food (yes, we asked them :P). So we never really got to enter other Chinese restaurants whenever we visit the city. I guess we were not that adventurous to try the other Chinese restaurants or we were so satisfied with their food that we keep coming back. However, during our visit last month, DH and I decided that would be our last time to dine there. Prices have gone up and unfortunately, one of the servers did not understood our orders and we had to wait a little longer to get the right orders. I do not want to go into so much details anymore but the manager was very kind enough to replace our orders with what we originally ordered. Also, for some reason, we were not too enthusiastic with their dishes anymore except for the soft shell crabs which is a new dish, for that dish alone, I will bug DH to go back there. Anyway, before I make birthday invitations for a friend, here's sharing photos of the food. Makes me crave for soft shell crabs in the middle of the night hee hee.
(the bowl of oranges and of course, the fortune cookies were complimentary :))
