It's been almost 2 years since my folks got their Magic Jack from my brother. You see, because of this kind of communication technology, my mom would call me every single day even 2-3 times a day talking about everything under the sun, from mundane things like their water pumps restoration to serious issues. I just cannot imagine my life without these daily calls from my folks and siblings. MJ sure does lessen the homesickness I feel from time to time.

And then there's Viber app for my iPhone. A tool I used to talk to my friends overseas for free! Of course, they should have an iPhone too to be able to use the app.
