RECIPE OF THE WEEK: tamarind candy
I was craving for Sampalok/Tamarind Candies for 2 weeks now. I did not realize there are ready made being sold at the Asian/Filipino store. Hubby did not bother checking too. Instead, he bought this the other day after checking some Motherboards in a computer shop.
And I transformed them to this yesterday :).
Sampalok is love!

Oh and yes the recipe is quite easy :)
Peel off the tamarind. Dissolve sugar and a bit of flour in a boiling water then mix the peeled tamarind. Add sugar and salt, depending on the consistency and taste you want to achieve.
