Hubby and I just screamed our loudest "BRING IT ON" when the clock struck 12am last night which marked our 1st day of 2009. We know for a fact that our 2009 is hectic, busy, challenging and fully-packed! In fact, I made a promise with hubby that as his partner, there would be no impulsive purchases for the 1st quarter of the year :). And I promised myself not to shop for the 1st 3 months. Is that possible? I think so, I just need to be determined with my savings, that's all that matters to keep my focus. After all, we are doing this for our future, for something big that we could be proud of. Also, as hubby and I were talking about our monthly budget and plan for this year, we realized we cannot accommodate a luxurious vacation similar to that of the jamaica all inclusive resort vacation package that we have been dreaming of. You see, hubby plans to pursue his graduate studies program as well as soon as I am done with mine by early next year. But hubby is so persistent that he wants to start his education by the last quarter of this year. You know how education can be very expensive here. But we know for a fact that after all these hardwork and perseverance, we can afford any of those romantic vacations (or might even hold our own caribbean weddings) we have been constantly checking with superclubs.com and breezes.com.
