Some people do not understand online connections and friends, while I was also hesitant about it some 5 years ago, I am so happy to have met a lot of friends online. Now, that I am away from my circle of friends, these online friends keep me company almost 24/7 through the various networking sites. Anyhow, most of my US-based online friends have kept me settled here in the 1st few months of our move and thus, our friendships grew deeper. Now, that I am making our Christmas list, I am thinking of giving their families something to feast on the holidays. I have mentioned in a previous post that I am more likely happy to receive chocolate gift baskets but one of my online buddies who is based here said that she'd be happier to receive gourmet nuts she saw over at nutsonthenet.com.
