LIVING THE HEALTHY LIFE: caring for the skin.
Even as early as 5, I would always look up and remember how my Mom would take care of her skin. No matter how tiring her day was, she never failed to apply lotion everynight. If you know my mom, she has the creamiest and fairest skin. At her age of 57, you wouldn't see as much wrinkles on her as expected for her age. So, as soon as I learned to apply lotion on myself, I did it myself and never stopped since then, even if it was the hottiest day.
At age 16, I remember seeing the 1st dermatologist for my dry skin. I really had a dry skin then and was advised by the dermatologist to use Dove moisturising soap and to start using olay moisturizer for my face. Dove has became my only body soap and I never stopped putting olay moisturizer since then. I am the type of person who is so conscious with skin diseases. I freaked out at the smallest white or blackhead. When an officemate had psoriasis, I started reading on symptoms of psoriasis. I frequent PsoriasisTx for 3 weeks, which is a free educational Web site designed to provide dermatologists and dermatology nurses with the latest information about biologic therapies used to treat patients with moderate to severe psoriasis. I was so conscious with almost any kind of skin diseases.
I believe genes is one of the biggest factors in having a good skin but more than anything else, eating the proper diet and releasing as much stress in our lives or simply living the healtiest life is the most important key to having radiant, beautiful skin.

You have probably heard about the many benefits of Shea Butter. It is used for many different things such as dry skin, irritation, muscle aches, chapped lips, dry hair, and many more.
Shea Butter is made from the kernel of the Karite tree. Before it is made, the Karite tree produces a fruit. It is a green-orange fruit which is about the size of an apricot. It is deliciously sweet, and high in vitamin C and other nutrients. When the fruit is eaten, there is a kernel left over. This is what is used to make the Shea Butter that we love for our skin!
Shea Butter is more than just great for your skin. Knowing that it is safe enough to eat is important. You no longer have to worry about which kind of cream and moisturizer you can use for your baby's sensitive skin, your chapped lips, or even your face. It is something that can be used for a ton of different things. Thanks, Mother Nature!
