on food styling.

Next to being a make-up artist, I would want to be a food stylist. I find it more challenging to be a food stylist than a make-up artist. Although with food styling, sky is the limit when using art materials as compared to being a make-up artist, one has to consider the sensitivity of the skin of your subject.

I was amazed one time when I watch this show where they featured all the top food stylists in the world. I was gleaming with excitement, I mean it's so technical (because of the many food styling gadgets and techniques they have and know)yet it requires a lot creativity, uniqueness and talent to be known in the food styling business. Sometimes, I find myself searching the large selection of digital cameras at 42nd Street Photo website and ended up drooling with the many photography gadgets and accessories. I would really REALLY love to own a digital SLR, especially now that I have started this food blog. My point and shoot Olympus (but very handy and reliable) digital camera does not give justice to the dishes and meals I photographed. Sometimes all it takes is a good camera to make those meals look (hee!) delectable. Let's see if I can save for that baby.
